The Prompt
Fed verbatim to every model on the tape. 33 lines of instructions; several thousand lines of consequences. Trades were executed under the house rules (Exhibit B).
BananeExchange_Prompt.md
Build a visually spectacular but useless single-page website: “Banana Ripeness Exchange,” a fake high-finance trading terminal for bananas. Blank Linux project. Implementation constraints: - Create a static site with no backend. - Prefer one self-contained index.html with embedded CSS and JS. - No npm/build step/dependencies unless truly necessary. - Use procedural CSS/JS/SVG/canvas, not external assets. - Make it responsive for desktop and mobile. - Make edits directly; do not ask follow-up questions. Design direction: - Bold, premium, hilarious “Bloomberg terminal for bananas.” - Dark high-contrast trading floor aesthetic with banana-yellow, acid green, red loss states, and crisp panels. - Include animated candlestick chart for ripeness futures. - Include fake ticker tape with banana symbols like BANA, PEEL, SPOT, MUSH, CHIQ. - Include KPI cards: Peel Volatility, Bruise Index, Potassium Yield, Ripeness Momentum, Institutional Monkey Flow. - Include fake order book, market news, analyst upgrades/downgrades, and a large “Ripeness Risk Gauge.” - Include useless interactions: buy/sell buttons, time range tabs, market panic button, banana maturity slider, and fake alerts. - Interactions should update numbers/charts visually but have no real purpose. - Add polished motion: scrolling ticker, pulsing alerts, animated chart, subtle grid/glow, hover states, number flicker. - Keep text funny but concise. Token workflow: - Use rtk for noisy inspection commands. - Do not dump full generated code in chat. - Use only minimal terminal/browser output. Acceptance: - Opening index.html shows a complete polished responsive fake trading dashboard. - No console errors. - Works without internet. - Final response <=6 lines: file(s), how to open, verification. - Do not run a server to verify output or use git
